I got the release alert for this book, and was delighted as I have been hoping to read it. So delighted, in fact, that I promptly dragged my poor beleagured husband out of the bath so that he could drive me to the release site! Looking forward to reading it!
A fantastic book. I think this should make it on to everyone's reading lists. - It certainly educates the reader about life in Kabul. Very enjoyable.
However, I am curious about the references to the year 1381 when referring to contemporary events; perhaps I am missing the obvious!
