I've got a copy of this lurking in rather awe-inspiring fashion in my bookcase at the moment (it's hardback and takes up about a quarter of the shelf), but as a life-long Atwood fan, I couldn't resist picking up this comparatively dinky paper-back for a spot of wild-releasing when I saw it in a charity shop earlier today.

Lucycat very kindly offered to send me this book when I mentioned I wanted to read it. It arrived very quickly through the post and is now near the top of my To Be Read pile, I can't wait to read it! :o) Thanks again Luc.

I'm no longer bookcrossing but I'm making a concerted effort to read, journal and release all the books that have come my way through other bookcrossers. I've made a list of books in the order they arrived with me and was shocked to realise that I've had this book on my TBR pile for over five years.

I finally picked it up and have been reading it over the past three days. I can't believe I left it so long to read it because it was a brilliant novel. It's one of those books that while futuristic it has so many echoes of things that our society is doing or beginning to look towards doing. It's really made me think, it'll be a novel that stays in my head for a good long while.

I'll be releasing this novel soon, either to a charity shop that is happy to sell books with BC labels in or onto a friend who always passes books on after she's read them.

I'll be releasing this book at the Eden Valley Hospice charity book shop on Saturday morning. I hope it finds another reader who will enjoy it as much as I did.
