Journal Entry 1 by vraciousrdr from Vista, California USA on Tuesday, March 08, 2005
If you aren't a fan of the blues, you will be once you've read Bill Fitzhugh's "Highway 61 Revisted." This delightful mystery (second in the series) featuring DJ and amateur sleuth Rick Shannon spins a clever tale of intrigue and deception set against a blues backdrop. The reader will be drawn into the well written book that's peppered with references to the great blues artists. Since I'm not intimately aquainted with the blues, it was hard to tell which references were factual and which were fiction, designed to enhance the story. Looking forward to the rest of the series.
