After Rachel's 30th birthday party, she knocks back one drink too many and winds up in bed with Dex. Instead of feeling guilty about sleeping with her best friend's fiancé, Rachel realizes that Dex is the only man she's really loved, and that she's always resented manipulative Darcy. Rachel and Dex spend a few weekends in the city together "working" while Darcy's off with friends at a Hamptons beach share, but finally Rachel realizes she'll have to give Dex an ultimatum.

Thank you, thank you, thank you! I have been really wanting to read this book. My TBR is huge, but once I am caught up reading the books I owe other relayers, this is the first thing I plan to read. Thanks again for offering it on the relay.

This was one of the better chicklit books I have read in a long time. I really appreciate ellymae58 sending it to me and can't wait to read the next installment, Something Blue by the same author.

I've been binging on chicklit since the Chicklit Perpetual box passed by here, and this was one of the best of the lot so far. Hard to tell too much about it without giving away the plot, will just say that it revolves around a pair of long-time friends, one of whom seems just a weeeeeeeeeee bit manipulative. Enough detail, I'll just say that the characters are believable, you care about what happens to them for good or for ill, the situations don't seem to horribly outlandish that you roll your eyes the entire time you're reading.

I'm going to hold on to this one til I get the bookbox back, although it will be a while, because it's really worth it.
