Arrived in the mail today! Hurrah! I've got one other bookring book ahead of it, but will get to it as quickly as possible. What a treat to be number one in line!

Terry Pratchett is such a playful, fun author. I get a kick out of reading all of his books. He's also somewhat of a wildcard -- things not always being painfully obvious and easy to guess. Oh, sure, some things are just the way you expect them to go, but that's ok, too.

I think I like his young adult stuff better, but I have no complaints against his "more mature" **guffaw** books.

I really enjoyed this book, and I am glad to have had the chance to read it. I realize it's the 8th book in the "series." I wonder if it's important to read them in order? I read "The Colour Of Magic" before, which I think is number one... I guess I'll just have to try out a few more before I find out if I've gotten off on the wrong foot or not **laughs**

I liked this one a lot. Night Watch, which comes later, is also one of my favorites, so I was glad to read another fun story about the same characters.

Great book! Will be mailing to Bartonz tomorrow! Also, some good and bad news. The bad news is that I lost the original copy of the book (uhh... while saving puppies.) The good news is that I bought a new copy of the book at B&N and will be shipping it. And because I currently have a wild release rate of 0/15, it's unlikely the second copy will cause any problems...
