The book arrived here yesterday. I've been wanting to read it for ages, so now I can't wait to get started... Will try to be quick!
I enjoyed this book a lot more than I expected. I've always wanted to read it, but ever since I heard that it's supposed to be a book 'that will make you believe in God', I was very reluctant and highly sceptical (especially after I tried and read 'The Alchemist' which I didn't like at all). Now that I actually got around to reading 'Life of Pi', I can assure other sceptics that it's really just a nice story and not missionary at all (or only a tiny little bit).
Thanks again for the bookring!
