I received this book and this one from the photographer of Cafe Haiku after meeting him via Bookcrossing. He found out about bookcrossing, when someone freed one of his books, which, in turn, led him to write bookcrossing, where he found me in my support role...which in turn led me to find out about the book. A nice full circle.

I am sending this to some of my favorite BookCrossers in the hopes that they will fill it up with their British wit, wisdom and wise cracks, and that maybe it can go to the BCUK Unconvention, even if I can't. No need to get fancy. Just pass it around till full and send it back!

And here's hoping that someday all my Wishful Thinking shall pay off and I'll get to meet you all in person!

Cheers!

This book should be arriving to WistfulDragon soon. In the meantime I just got this email from the creator of this book, who was the photographer for CAfe Haiku.
All about Cafe Haiku Slams and Radio Slam webcast.

Jsut passing it on FWIW. Sounds a little like a London meet-up, without the radio broadcast!

Unfortunately I can't access the links (web blocker, nothing worse!) so can't tell what you meant with your comments - whether we should be flattered or insulted!
If you want it filled with British wit, wisdom and wisecracks, I'd better not write in it! I shall take it around with me though - including to the Unconvention, if there is any space left.
We need a new status - 'to be written'.

I wished to feel better of a morning, and something else...
And WistfulDragon adulterated my comments!
So I did the same back.

Twas a good Friday in The Clarence...

Seems like no matter where in the world I go, I encounter bookczuk's name or a journal of hers... :-)

Just to let you know czuk that the journal is with me now... Wistful had already taken it to a few meets that i'd been to but as shes now under the impression that i'll be seeing you in Toronto in April (If i do actually get there lol.... havent booked my flights or anything yet....) she thought she would let me look after it til then... So i'll take it to a few meet ups and lets see if we can get this baby full up by then :o)

Oh lovely! The journal is visiting with caffcaff, who will undoubtedly ply it with chocolates and other goodies. It'll be spoiled rotten by the time it eventually makes it back to me. Take it around as much as you like, even to the Toronto Convention if that happens for you. I won't be able to make it myself-- but perhaps MartiP will be there or another friendly US BookCrosser, who can tote it across the border to the US and mail it to me when it is full. I'll even reimburse for Priority Postage for it...

Let me wish everyone whho had journaled here, all the very best. And extend an invitation to come to the North American 2007 Convention here in Charleston. :)

Now back to you, caffcaff!

Caffcaff brought this to the Maidstone meet today and comments were added by Loopy1, yorkshire-lass and Star69. I've brought it home to try to think of something vaguely intelligent to write.

I've had lots of fun reading entries so far and can identify a few bookcrossers from their handwriting and getting endless amusement from BigBoss's slushy entries - so sweet :)

Bookczuk brought this to trivia night of Redoing the Charleston UnConvention 2008! I enjoyed reading through others' comments and adding a few of my own. Now I feel I've been to a UK UnConvention as well as an American one!
