Found this in a Hastings in Norman, OK -- I received the first one in the seris in a trade, and couldn't wait to read more of them. This is the second one.

i enjoy this series very much, even if therea re some similarities to Laurell (K. Hamilton) Dating a vampire, protected by a shape shifter, has powers of her own. So -- good, but not keep the book good.

Passing on to a friend who has the first in the series too.

Oops I just realized I never journaled this one for some reason. I am currently reading the first in the series and hope to mail out books 1-4 to Spikesmom in the next month or so.

This was my second read for this book. The first time I read it I signed up for it on a ring and hadn't realized it was part of a series. I read it anyway even though it was the second in the series. I liked it enough to want to read the rest of the series but I didn't love it. After reading the first four in the series I can say this one is meatier than the first, I like the mystery part actually two of them better than the first one.
I normally don't re-read books but I didn't want to miss anything since it had been awhile. I was glad I did I seemed to pick up more the second time around probably because I had all the background info from the first. I am sending this to Spikesmom either today or tomorrow. Enjoy!

Whee! Arrived over my Thanksgiving trip to San Francisco. I'm sort of sorry I didn't have them with me, as they'd have been great plane books.

Well... what an excuse for another trip, huh? *grin*

Finally! I've been eager to get to more of this series, and at last, I got defiant and read this out of turn (yes, my backlog is currently this big!). I'm glad I did. While this series is mostly fluff, it's exactly the right sort of fluff. It's not too dark, it doesn't have too many twists, and Sookie's got her hang-ups and limits.

I can't find a record of what I did with this book. I think I sent it out as a RABCK. At any rate, it's not here anymore!
