I received this in the mail today and it was a welcome surprise to cheer up a gloomy/depressing day! Thank you WritinReader for sharing! I will write something soon and try to send it on within a week or so. Thanks!
Sorry I've had this way longer than I intended - time got away from me - I can't believe it's been 2 months already. I'm PMing the next in line.
Got in the mail today. Thanks will send on soon.
Had my turn; on to Abbynormal. A line from one of my favorite movies, Young Frankenstein. Could be worse, could be raining.
LOL @ BossMare. Walk this way....
Just got this in the mail yesterday, have written, and I'm ready to send it on! :D
will PM Pyan and let her know.
(this was fun!)

Received in today's mail. I'll be taking some time to ponder what I'll be adding to this beautiful journal.
I apologize for keeping so long, but life has been really busy -- two friends in hospital. I'm going to get this mailed on so have PM'd Jaiyn who is next on the list for her mailing information.
I've done a small amount of writing in it; will try over next couple days to add more -- it's such a wonderful journal. Thank you so much WritinReader for starting this!

Have tried to reach Jaiyn; no response to PMs. She hasn't been active in the forums for about six months.
Will try to reach Ebumu so I can get this on it's way.

Mailing to Ebumu.
Mailing to Ebumu.
It arrived safe and sound today, along with the remnants of hurricane Katrina. Here in upstate New York Katrina is reduced to a moderate downpour--welcome here to help the mushrooms grow. My heart goes out to all those people in Louisiana and Mississippi who were caught in her devastating path.
I'll read it, make an entry and send this along to dodau in short order.

Oh no!!! I found this book last week, fallen down the back of a small TBR mountain. I thought I had already mailed it on--ages ago. I'm very, very sorry for the delay. I sent this to dodau in the UK, air mail, on Jan. 20 as I was heading out of town.
I hope she will get it quickly and enjoy reading and writing in it as I did. I haven't kept a journal, except while traveling. Now i remember it can be a nice release. Thanks WritinReader, and my apologies to all for losing track of it for so long.

Arrived today, will add my words and send on next week.
As I seem to have been the last to journal this and I have no idea where it could be I have to hold up my hand and admit to having lost it. I can't believe that it's been on my shelf for almost three years without me realising and having moved in the summer I know I haven't got it. I'm really sorry and feel really bad about it. I will happily start another ring if there is interest
I'm ready to forward this journal. It's still here in Sweden. On the list it says I should send it back too WritingReader, but there is still allot of empty pages. There is still room for many others to contribute. If you WritingReader want more to contribute, who want's it?? Where should I send it?
CONTROLLED RELEASE NOTES:
Sent it by post to polliwog.
Since Wringingreader is not responding and there is still allot of space in the journal, here is a new list. Forward the journal to:

Received today! Thank you so much Annelie. I've never gotten mail from Sweden before, so just seeing the packet and postage stamps was exciting. :-) I will likely keep this at least a few weeks, I have two other bookcrossers that live in the same house as me that might want to journal in it too before we send it on.
Updated shipping list for the 'Pick A Topic' Journal Book.
1) polliwog (Washington, USA)
2) minesayn (Ohio, USA)
3) wendyv (Australia)
4) Canadian-Babe (Italy)
5) Originalmulli (United Kingdom)
6) Jenetix (United Kingdom)
7) fusillifunk (Portugal)
8) siana1o1 (New York, USA)
9) e-clique (Philippines)
Also BethanyGordon (United Kingdom) and sarkiegirl (California, USA) seemed possibly interested, but I'm not 100% sure so didn't add them in yet. Perhaps whomever has it last can PM them and see if they want to be included. If we cannot locate the journal originator (WritinReader) by the end of this run, I'm not sure what should be done!

I have added my bits to this lovely little book and am ready to send it on! I have PM'ed next-in-line so there should be a controlled release on this within a few days. I wanted to say that I got so much out of reading the thoughts in it from the previous participants. It was therapeutic in many ways and made me feel not-so-alone in life, and in some of the things I have gone through. I hope five years later that all of you are well, and happy. Thank you for sharing yourselves in the journal. I hope the journal continues on to inspire and touch everyone else that sees it, and that it eventually makes its way back to WritinReader. I sent her the below PM, but since she has not seemingly been active on BC for a couple years, I thought I would post it here too in case she is not getting her PM's for some reason.
**********note to WritinReader**********
Hello WritinReader,
I have just seen the writing journal you started and sent out five years ago. I wanted you to know it really inspired and touched me to read the work in it thus far and to add my own thoughts. It was VERY therapeutic in so many ways! I see you have not been active on BC for a couple years, so I hope this note finds you well. Your little journal is going on another international journey and I hope that it does still make its way back to you eventually. Thank you for starting this project.
Love,
Polli

The journal is leaving the Island, headed for Ohio! Safe travels little journal!
Received via the mail on Friday (just as I was leaving for an out-of-town visit with family and friends). Will write in it and then send on quickly. Can't wait to read what others have written, too. Thanks polliwog for sending it me, and also thanks to WritinReader for this delightful idea. I blog on Red Room, which is a site for writers so feel free to blog over there, too.

After reading and journaling, sending on to wendyv (along with a story for her class about traveling shoes). I guess that means that I am still writing. Thanks to all who have written in the journal; it was fun to read everyone's thoughts, and fun to add a few notes of my own.
