Well, I did the opposite to raeliz64 and sobbed my way through the first half and was fine through the second half!
I really enjoyed it and found it very intense at first, mainly because it was such a heartbreaking thought, for Susie to be watching her family in that way and because I've not read a book written from that perspective before.
I think I had to get used to the idea, which is probably why I stopped sobbing after the first half!
I've read a couple of reviews from people who were disappointed with the ending. I found that the ending was OK, I wasn't left feeling disappointed at all.
