This was actually very slow and boring. For a small book, it took me a long time to read because I kept falling asleep.
I expected a lot more adventure because it's such a classic, enduring concept; but this novel mostly describes the problems with staying on schedule and not enough about the people and cultures which were passed by along the way.

We just moved to Chattanooga from Orlando, Florida and have been missing the Florida sunshine. However, today was a gorgeous day and we were enjoying our first taste of Spring. My Mom and Dad and my 4 year old nephew had come from Mississippi to visit for the weekend. We took the Incline Railway up to the top of Lookout Mountain to explore. The book was on the edge of a lookout over the Tennessee Valley and the Tennessee River. That is the story of how I found the book. Who hasn't heard of this book? I have yet to read it and I must say from the entry below it doesn't really entice me. I will probably plan to pass it on.
