'A thousand years hence, when persistent rain has divided much of Britain into separate islands, the followers of a saintly boy are persecuted by the thuggish bully-boys of Chruch. But there is something else: the struggles of the godly and ungodly are witnessed by a team of present-day researchers working on a technique of scanning the future... Moving, beautifully envisioned by the excellent Richard Cowper' Daily Telegraph

Do you have a wishlist I can watch out for ?

Interesting mixture of sci-fi and religion that lasted 2 train trips. Reminded me a bit of the Obernewtyn series by Isobelle Carmody.
An orphan book leftover on the table after the Sydney Meetup, picked up to release on the walk home down Campbell St. This book was left either:
a) in an apartment building post box area
b) on top of the security card swipy thingamy at the entrance to a car park
c) on the seat of a Vespa motorbike thingy (I hope I haven't offended said owner of motorbike thingy, anything with an engine isn't me.)
d) on a table at the front of a terrace house
e) on a letterbox
Take your pick!

i found the book on Campbell St. last week when i was walking to college..
it was in front of someone's front door, but i picked up anyways..
while i was walking away fastly and questioning my honesty, i saw the BC label inside.. i found the whole idea very interesting and exciting, yet i can not say the same things about the book..
it is still hard for me to get into the book because of my language barrier..
too many words that i don't know, but i'm still trying..
this book will be in London next month..
