"Not before time, a book that honestly analyses Australia today (1964), both in her home life and in her relations with other countries. Horne's provocative discussion of old attitudes and new responsibilities is conducted with an open mind; the findings may be startling, but the thought is constructive. Australia in the sixties is indeed a lucky country, but she may not stay that way unless she takes stock of her institutions and policies, and examines her attitudes to politics, business, the arts, the cities and the country. Horne's book does just this; moreover, it does it with wit & style"

Bought at the Brisbane Lifeline Bookfest '05 with the intention of releasing.

Enjoy!

This book was picked up by a friend of mine and passed on to me as I was travelling to the UK in a few months. I carried the book halfway around the world and then forgot that I had it in my bag.... whoops! I am living in Chelsea in London and have plans to release this little beauty at a random location in the Chelsea/Fulham area very soon.....
