I picked this up at the BookCrossing meetup at the Stamford Arms today. It looks like an interesting read.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

RELEASE NOTES:

I left this by the base of one of the chair or table legs, next to a copy of The True History of the Kelly Gang by Peter Carey, which someone had released earlier. It was very busy and unfortunately I did not spot the other BookCrossers but I still had a very pleasant afternoon sitting in the sunshine with a good book.

The other bookcrossers can't believe we missed you. We had been keeping our eye on the Kelly Gang book and had turned away momentarily when we saw your book there as well. Initially a gent picked it up but he left it further up the hill in the grass. I grabbed the book and brought it with me. Looking forward to reading it. Sorry we didn't find you.

8 out of 10

I enjoyed this book much more than I had expected to. I thought it would be highly chick littish (which I guess it was to a large extent) and therefore not something I'd usually read. Although the name's of the characters annoyed me deeply, the premise was quite interesting and I was able to supsend belief enough to go along with the plot and follow it's twists.

I must apologise for having held on to it so long before reading it.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Thrown from the fourth plinth along with four other books. I was lucky enough to be selected for Antony Gormley's art project One and Other and chose to wander about chattering to people while listening to music and throwing books.
