This is one of seven books that I received as Christmas presents. I will get to it in due time. Don't rush me. Why are you trying to rush me?

I've started reading, and am nearing halfway. Tis great. I find I need to pause for a few seconds/minutes after each section to absorb the world and imagine myself there. It's a difficult thing to do, some worlds moreso than others, but it's made significantly easier by Lightman's writing, as he conveys images sublimely.

A phenomenal book. All the possibilities! I really really enjoyed this book book. It wasn't just the imaginative concepts of time that I appreciated, it was also the honest elements of behavior and feeling so well communicated. I am glad this did not start out with another bookcrosser as I am compelled to keep this one for myself for the time being, and wouldn't feel right about that if it had come from someone else. Sometime in the next week I will likely loan it to a non-bookcrosser friend of mine who will, I am absolutely sure, possibly like this..

Fantastic book. Highly recommended.

I got this back from my non-bookcrosser friend who didn't actually finish it. Arrrrrrrrg. He's also the one who didn't finish this one. Oh well, c'est la vie.. I did get 10 bucks off him playing poker last night. Just thought I'd mention that..

This book has now been loaned to a girl that I work with. She is often seen reading a book, and I figure, hey, maybe she'll read this. It being a book and all..

Once I get it back from her I'll probably keep it for a while.. I'll probably get my mom to read it and then I'll read it again. It's one that'll be good to go back to every once in a while...

Me again. Got this back on June 15th from "girl at work". Not sure if she finished, but I know she read at least half and liked it. But I had to get it back from her as I was starting a new job on June 16th. My mom now has it. We might, just might, get a journal entry from her. She's a non-active bookcrosser. She has real life bookclubs to keep her busy. She has released four books, all of them done by me in Stanley Park last year. She hasn't heard from any of them. There's still a chance, mama. Keep hope alive!

As I don't see myself departing with this book anytime soon, except temporarily to friends and family, I have obtained another copy to set free for others to enjoy. Second copy found here.
