10 out of 10

«Cutter - Blood of ten chiefs - now leads the Wolfriders. When their forest holt is burned, they must flee across a burning desert in search of a new home.
What they discover astonishes them - another tribe of elves! Cutter instantly loses his heart heart to Leetah, the sun folk's healer. But just as quickly he wins the enmity of Rayek the hunter, whose suspicion of the newcomers is boundless.
Can these two tribes - so completely different in custom and experience - ever accept one another?»

Wonderful book!
I really loved the elves hippie style, great clothes and hair cuts :)

fflloorr brought this to me as a surprise today, at the BC meeting, and since I am a longtime fan of elves, I eagerly accepted it. I'm very curious about this series, as I've heard a lot about it. I'm looking forward to reading it (and, if I like it, to ask fflloorr nicely for more...... *winks*). Thank you!

8 out of 10

Finally I managed to finish this comic. I was familiar with Elfquest, at least by name, as I had never read anything in the universe and didn't know much about the story. It was about elves, that was what I knew. So I took this opportunity to finally familiarise myself with this series at last and I can say liked it. I can't say it was my favourite comic of all time, but the art was great, despite the too effeminate male elves, which is a little pet peeve of mine since I like my male elves to look like *male* elves, and I was hooked into the story. A very nice read, with incredible drawings that take your breath away. I will certainly be wanting to read other volumes of this series. Thank you, fflloorr!

The elves are with me now. We'll see how addict I'll become.

Thank you fflloorr!
