Winter
4 journalers for this copy...
For twelve years, Winter has been haunted.
Her past will not leave her alone.
And now, at sixteen, the time has come for her to act.
Every journey begins with a single step. If Winter is going to step into the future, she must first step into the past.

Given away at the February weekend meetup at Verb Cafe.
This looks like another good read from John Marsden - thanks Kevin, I will read this and then add it to my pile reserved for the New Zealand convention.
Another well written book by John Marsden.
The story of Winter re-discovering her past when she returns to the family home she left at four years of age.
As a sixteen year old, I found her a little unbelievable, doing and saying things which you would expect from an older, more mature person; eg moving alone into the long deserted farmhouse which was unfurnished and leaking; and firing the farm managers with no notice at all.
Reserved for releasing in New Zealand.
Whoops, journalled before I got a chance to release it. Left on our way out of Milford Sound after a fantastic overnight cruise.

CAUGHT IN TE ANAU NEW ZEALAND
Loved this short book about a sixteen year old girl returning to her home town. Will be passing on later on this month. I plan to leave it at the Embassy Theatre in Wellington after seeing The Hobbit. I hope someone picks it up and enjoys it as much as I do.
