Found this with the other one. Am too old for it but know someone who is a keen book crosser and might like it, so shall pass it on.

CAUGHT IN KINCUMBER NSW AUSTRALIA

Journal Entry 4 by djt from Sydney CBD, New South Wales Australia on Sunday, February 20, 2005
Caught in Strathfield via a friend. Feel that I am out of age bracket for this book so will pass on to my grandaughter 'gymgirl'.

Journal Entry 5 by Gymgirl from Sydney CBD, New South Wales Australia on Monday, February 21, 2005
Received from djt today! Will try to read before the new movie comes out!

Journal Entry 6 by Gymgirl from Sydney CBD, New South Wales Australia on Thursday, March 10, 2005
I really enjoyed this book although I think the last chapter should have been longer and continued the story of what happened after the camp. I've seen the shorts of the movie and it looks fun so I'm glad I've already read the book!
Some girls at school asked me if they could borrow it next but if they don't want it I'll release it soon...

Journal Entry 7 by Gymgirl from Sydney CBD, New South Wales Australia on Friday, March 25, 2005
Since the movie of this book has just been released in Australia I thought there maybe a few other people who might like to read it so I've decided to start a bookring. I have included this picture as a 'postcard' with the book. Could everyone please autograph it and send it on with the book. At the end it will be a memento of my first bookring. Thank you.

Journal Entry 9 by aussieangel2 from Dayton, Western Australia Australia on Sunday, April 10, 2005
Received in the mail today. Both my daughters want to read it and since they haven't seen the movie yet, would be a good time to do so. School holidays just started here so they have more time and hopefully won't take too long to finish.

I will have each of them add a journal entry when finished.

Journal Entry 10 by fontanakids from Yokine, Western Australia Australia on Saturday, April 23, 2005
I think it was really good. Plus I think it was more being the best of the two of them. So there always boasting that they're this and that. But it ended up good in the end when they were friends.

From Kimberley

I have given this book to my sister Shauni to read.

Journal Entry 11 by fontanakids from Yokine, Western Australia Australia on Tuesday, May 3, 2005
I thought it was really funny how they came up with all these interesting excuses. I can't wait to see the movie.

From Shauni

Mum will post this to hunnyb at the end of next week (next payday).

Journal Entry 12 by aussieangel2 from Dayton, Western Australia Australia on Tuesday, May 17, 2005
I didn't get this posted last week as I thought I would. Sorry for the delay. I decided to start reading it and took longer than I expected (life got in the way!)

Anyway, I quite enjoyed this and have a feeling I may have read it, or an extract from it at some time as a lot of if seemed familiar. I was only 14 when it was first published so I could have read it in my teens.

Looking forward to seeing the movie - will probably have to wait until it's on DVD but I don't think it will be too much longer.

I have this all ready to go and will post to hunnyb today!

Wow, thanks so much for sharing the book! Looks like it's travelled a lot already. So now it's back safe and sound on the east coast of Australia (hope the storms didn't hit you guys too hard, aussieangel2 and family!) Look forward to re-reading this - loved it as a teen (not that that was that long ago...)

Journal Entry 15 by hunnyb from Sydney CBD, New South Wales Australia on Tuesday, May 24, 2005
This was as good as I remember :) Captures the essence of teenage angst so well. Much brighter than some of her other offerings, e.g. Came Back to Show You I could Fly - although that shouldn't deter you from reading it cos it's a great book. Will sent along to catsalive.

I received this today. It's at #4.

Erica certainly did have an exaggerated opinion of her own importance, & all those lies! This is still primary school, as a teenager she'll be insufferable. I can see the appeal for the YAs but she was too bratty for me.

Awaiting brazen20au's address.
