My girlfriend thought I was nuts when I tried to steal the book from the old box office at the Frederic Wood Theatre at UBC. I got it and then read the inscription on the front cover and came here to this site. I really have no plans to read the book -- I know the ending already. Everybody dies (sorry to give it away to anybody who might not have read it yet). I'll try to leave it somewhere for someone to pick up. Thanks for the fun!
