8 out of 10

"Caught" this in the mail today in a box-o-books from a forum RABCK of stale old BC books found. Thank you!

2005 Doubleday hardcover, with dust jacket.

Edit December 19, 2012: I enjoyed this for the most part, but got a bit lost as to the how and why about the end. And maybe it's just a modern thriller thing, but some of the characters, like the wife and the cop, are really unlikeable and inexplicable, about why they act and behave as nasty as they do. And the whole Parkinson's thing is an add-on that really gives very little to the story, other than handicapping the protagonist a bit.
