I apologize for taking so long. I had a pile of bookrings that I was trying to get through as well. Even though I've read these books as a child, I still love them! Thanks for sharing! Mailing to MysteryMish tomorrow!

Journal Entry 6 by MysteryMish from Santa Monica, California USA on Tuesday, April 26, 2005
This just came in the mail today, and I am looking forward to reading it. I read some of the Narnia Chronicles as a kid and loved them. I've wanted to reread them as an adult for a while. I ordered the first two books in the series from Amazon so I could read them in order. I love to read series of books.

I loved this book! It is the third book of the Narnia Chronicles, and it is as good as the first two! I love to read series of books, and I liked that this book linked in well with the series so far. One thing I liked was that it takes place during the time period covered by the previous book, The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. It was unexpected for me - I figured it would just continue the timeline. I am mailing this book to MarahSulloy on Friday May 27.

I head the entire Narnia series a LONG time ago. Like when I was about 8 or 9. So I've forgotten (or maybe I never caught the first time around) how charming these books are. The narrative is really straightforward and focused, but not boring. Hopefully this will be off to Saphyre by Monday.

Journal Entry 10 by Saphyre from Hammond, Indiana USA on Saturday, August 06, 2005
This arrived in yesterdays mail. I am hoping to try and read it with my 8 year old daughter. Thanks for sharing this. This book is now safely on its way to the next on the list. Thanks for sharing this Tanyao4. I had not read these as a child, and I wish that I had. Although I am sure if I had read the series as a child I would not have appreciated it as much as I would as an adult.
