Journal Entry 1 by karendawn from Lafayette, Indiana USA on Tuesday, December 14, 2004
From the back cover: Jody never asked to become a vampire. But when she wakes up under an alley dumpster with a badly burned arm, an aching neck, superhuman strength, and a distinctly Nosferatuan thirst, she realizes the decision has been made for her. Making the transition from the nine-to-five grind to an eternity of nocturnal prowlings is going to take some doing, however, and that's where C. Thomas Flood fits in. A would-be Kerouac from Incontinence, Indiana, Tommy (to his friends) is biding his time night-clerking and frozen turkey bowling in a San Francisco Safeway. But all that changes when a beautiful, undead redhead walks through the door...and proceeds to rock Tommy's life--and afterlife--in ways he never imagined possible.

Journal Entry 2 by karendawn from Lafayette, Indiana USA on Saturday, April 02, 2005
Although not as laugh-out-loud funny as Lamb, this was a very enjoyable book (I read it in one day, staying up really late to finish it). I really liked the characters. I wasn't too surprised by the way it ended, but it was a satisfying end - though I would have liked to see even more.

Journal Entry 5 by Mumugrrl from Milwaukie, Oregon USA on Wednesday, April 20, 2005
I loved this book. It grabbed me right from the start and kept my attention throughout the whole thing. Usually I find myself counting the pages as I get towards the end, but this book I didn't want to finish. It was downright funny and it was a refreshing take on the vampire novel (of which I have read so many that it is hard to surprise me.) I will definitely check out Moore's other books.

Journal Entry 7 by LarkOnapost from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco Mexico on Monday, April 25, 2005
I was just wondering what to read next when this arrived in the mail. Thank you very much. I just finished Join Me by Danny Wallace which is one of the funniest things I've ever read. I hope Moore won't suffer too much in comparison. I'll be keeping a lookout for more Moore for Mumugrrl.

Journal Entry 8 by LarkOnapost from Puerto Vallarta, Jalisco Mexico on Tuesday, April 26, 2005
I read this in a few hours after receiving it. I liked it a lot. This is my new favorite of Moore's. I thought it had less chaos at the end, although there were the usual... never mind I won't spoil it. But I am surprised how much I liked it. Thanks so much and now I'm on a quest to find a new reader for this book.
