The Enchanted April is a wonderful book. It takes us away from dreary, rainy England to a castle on the Italian Riviera, where a group of women become friends. It was first published in Great Britain in 1922. It's interesting to get a peek at what some women in the 1920's thought about traveling, men, and each other.
