very clever - I've bought another book by the same author and gave it to a friend for christmas in the hope he will lend it to me when he's finished with it!

I was going to keep this one but have decided to send it off as a RABCK to someone who has kept me entertained over the past couple of weeks.

This book is insane! And insanely funny at that! It's my first Fforde, and now I can't wait for the 2 rings I signed up for to arrive! I was going to be very clever and put in a great quote from the book, but I just couldn't decide, it's too great!

Sorry for the delay in journalling, my puter at home doesn't like me - I already grabbed the book from my mailbox right before running to the -oh so sad- Germany-Italy footy match. Quite appropriate after the fun we had in the footy threads I think :O) - and it gave me something to laugh after both we and my Frenchies went out of the World Cup.
I finished it last night during a thunderstorm and had orginally wanted to offer it for the well travelled wild release challenge, but if you don't want your baby ending up in the wild after travelling some more, just let me know and I'll just reRABCK or ring it or something.
Thanks so much for this great book again!

Arrived a couple of days ago in a box of goodies from the lovely solielle - thank you!! Sorry I haven't journalled until now, I thought I already had.

I started to read it this afternoon and am wondering if I should've read The Eyre Affair first. The concept is mad and it seems like it will be fun. To be released for the Well Travelled Wild Release Challenge 2006 :)

This is such a fun book! I now want to read all of the others in the series.

I was a bit worried that the book wouldn't stand up on it's own, especially after reading the first few pages. The concept is really 'out there' and I was glad to find it easy to pick up the story where it had left off.

It has left me with so many questions...! What happened to her husband? Will she bring him back from eradication? Who are Goliath and the Chronoguard? I guess I'll have to find the other books to get the answers...

Thank you for sharing this one, now I just need to find out where it's going next... Well Travelled Wild Release Challenge
