Okay, I know it took me over a year to read this book, but I have finally done it, and I was not disappointed. I'm expecting my third child, my first girl, and I thought that it would be good to read a story about the relationship between a mother and daughter.
This book turned out to be a lovely, heartbreaking story about a young girl's coming of age and sexual awakening, and how her mother deals with skeletons from her past that she's afraid to reveal.
The book was not entirely what I expected, and definitely leaves the reader hanging. However, I highly recommend it, especially to other moms.
