Product Description:
Carly Phillips, New York Times bestselling author of The Bachelor, makes her hardcover debut with the final title in her series of sexy contemporary romances. Chase Chandler is head of the town newspaper, a role he took over when his father died. In doing so he sacrificed any hopes and dreams he had for himself. Still, he gladly watched as his younger brothers found wives and started families. But when their mother falls seriously ill, Chase realizes how lonely he's become and that it's time to find a wife-and life-of his own. When he promises to look out for a family friend's daughter who is visiting, he is shocked to discover that this is the young woman with whom he shared one secret night of passion. Now this loner is determined to try again with a woman he fell in love with on first sight-and find out if a second chance might lead to forever...

7 out of 10

This was a nice wrap-up to the series. There were times I cringed when reading the first two books for the silly reasons the characters didn't get together. This book was more satisfying.

I am offering this series together as a ring.

Just arrived today, along with the other 2 books traveling in this ring. Thank you NeedSun, for sharing your books! I'm looking forward to reading all three!

I have 3.5 bookring books ahead of this book, but it shouldn't take too long. I journal an update once I start on this one. :-)

***UPDATE: starting on this one today, 2/9

8 out of 10

Just finished it, and I liked this one MUCH better than the other two! It had more substance to its plot, and it was interesting the way it worked in Samson- who had been around since the beginning, but he now had a history and a life as well.

And the reasons for the couple not getting together is more complex in this book. I really enjoyed that. Thanks, NeedSun- for the 3-book bookring, and for being patient with me as I got caught in my bookring overload! ;-)

Will be mailed off tomorrow (Feb 14th) with its counterparts to Apolonia!

Yay! I finally finished the series! Thanks for your patience with me Needsun. I enjoyed the series very much. I am really torn as to which of the three I liked best. It's funny I noticed that I favored the book that I was currently reading and now that I'm done and looking back I can't choose which I liked the best.
I am going to mail all three to Tanya04 on Tuesday. I hope you enjoy them!

8 out of 10

Possibly not as good as the previous two but still an enjoyable read. Again the two main characters fitted well together and it was nice to go back and re-visit others from previous books. I thought it could have been a lot more intense, but the author is not a suspense writer so I can't complain :). Thanks NeedSun for organising the whole book ring. I'll post this and the other two books early next week.

a nice read but just seemed like a regurgitation of the other two in the trilogy....although it did manage to tie up the loose ends. i think they need to be read individually rather than as a series one after the other....
