"For Vanessa West and her mother Marion, a holiday in India seems a much-needed escape. Their destination is Ashagiri, the remote hill station where Marion grew up. For Vanessa, the trip will be a break from her frantic, but empty, London life; for the newly widowed Marion, a journey into the reassuring certainties of the past."

Now that's weird isn't it! It seems like every book I've brought home with me is from LyzzyBee - this one was on the shelf and I didn't even realise it was from you til now!
Looks good though :)

I loved this book! After languishing on my bookshelf and being moved from house to house I took it to Corfu on my honeymoon last year and it really spoke to me. One of those books that you read at exactly the right time. Just gorgeous.
Unfortunately this book has seen better days and a few of the pages are coming loose. I'm going to see if I can get another copy of this from Amazon or somewhere and replace it and set it on its travels again. It does deserve to be enjoyed by more people!
