Journal Entry 1 by aunt-lulu from Chicago, Illinois USA on Tuesday, November 16, 2004
There are so many good lines in this book. One of my favorites: "A woman always has half an onion left over, no matter what the size of the onion, the dish, or the woman." So true.

Journal Entry 5 by HoserLauren from Toronto, Ontario Canada on Tuesday, January 04, 2005
Well... it took me about 150 pages to finally get into this book. Usually I quit after about 60 pages if I can't get into a book, but for some reason I stuck this out. Pratchett has a very unique writing style, but I guess I just don't appreciate it the way others do. Don't get me wrong, this book wasn't bad, the last 100 or so pages were fun, but all in all this just wasn't for me. I'll be passing this along shortly.

Journal Entry 8 by HoserLauren from Toronto, Ontario Canada on Friday, March 18, 2005
I got this book back from my coworker today. He said he liked it because it was "quirky". Guess he didn't feel like journalling it. You can lead a horse to water but you just can't make it drink! This is now back in AceOfHearts' TBR pile Reserved for Sanddanz after this.
