Book Description:

Rick Chandler is a local cop in his small hometown. Cute book. Nice passionate scenes. Seemed the same as the first one, though.

This book started it's journey to BunnyBee today. It is travelling with the two others in this series, >The Bachelor (Book 1) by Carly Phillips and The Heartbreaker (Book 3) by Carly Phillips.

Finished this last night... it was a sweet book. I got a bit annoyed along the way, the way Rick and Kendall kept beating each other up by flinging their emotional baggage around constantly. And what they weren't flinging, they used up their energy stacking as a wall. ;-) lol Okay- so maybe it wasn't *that* bad... but all their internal worries about getting too close & getting hurt did get to be redundant. Still, it's a sweet story though. I liked the first book (The Bachelor) better.

I have another bookring book that I will be slipping in here before the third book, just to break things up and keep things moving at the same time. :-) Again, it shouldn't take too long before I can send all of these books off on their way! Thanks NeedSun, for being patient with me!

I received this in the mail yesterday along with the other two. I do have a few ahead of them but will get to them asap. Thanks for sharing, looking foward to them.

Two down, one to go. Again another cute read, I think this started off better than The Bachelor, but overall The Bachelor was slightly better, at least much better sex scenes in The Bachelor. As Needsun said it was somewhat similar to the first one. I will probably start The Heartbreaker in the next couple of days.

I think I enjoyed this one more than The Bachelor. I liked the concept more and enjoyed the spirit of the heroine. Reading the previous book I did think Rick would end up with Beth from the store but I was pleasantly surprised.

this was a nice read, but it wasz very similar to the first in the series.... perhaps they need to be read separately rather than one after the other like i did!!!

1/2/06 Finished this one...onto the next. I liked this one better than the 1st in the series. But I've always been a sucker for a guy in uniform (and guys with muscles to die for!)

This arrived home safe and sound. Thank you everyone for taking such good care of these books.
