While reading the story I had a very bad feeling, because Miranda didn't defend herself properly. At least during the first 200 pages I didn't understand, why she is not able to manage her life and accepts others to define her feelings, emotions and replies.
Finally Miranda finds a way to fight back...
After the first dead person the book started to become a page turner for me.
