I read this in a day so it obviously kept me hooked and the writing style was straight to the point without any unnecessary flowering. The story is basically about 3 generations of a family and the secrets that are kept and how they are all found out.

It was an interesting read.

This is now going to be an international bookray if I get enough members.

I've just received the book.
I'm impatient to read it and will do it as fast as I can.
****

I really enjoyed this book and as my feeling about it is written on its back, I'm just going to quote it as The New York wrote it better than I could do...
this author has "written a book that leaves you wishing it were longer"

The book will be sent tomorrow morning
(1st of december)

Recieved! I have one bookring in front of this one, but should get to it quickly. Thanks, and I'll journal more upon reading.

I read this book in one sitting! That surprised me, as I usually don't have that luxury. I put down my other bookring book, since I had been struggling with it, and upon picking this one up, I couldn't set it down. I liked especially how the 3rd person perspective changed with every chapter. The story wove together nicely at the end. I think it was one that my mom would especially like, so I'll be recommending it to her. I've pm'ed pjmom8025 for her address. Thanks for including me in this one!

This was an enjoyable book once I got the hang of the third person narrative. The family tree was a bit confusing and I finally had to write down who was 'begotten' by whom.

I will be shipping this off on Monday.

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

RELEASE NOTES:

I left this book on the shelf opposite the washbasins in the women's loo located in the Roman Baths (between the entrance to the Baths and the Pump Room). I took this book all the way back to England on a visit so it would return to the country of its original release... it was raining, so I didn't want to leave it outside! I was staying in a bed and breakfast and enjoying reading this when I wasn't out and about. It is a really nice read, although the ending event seemed just too pat.... and maybe it's because I am not Catholic, so all the Catholicism wound its way sometimes strangely into the tale. The characters are very affecting... they all seem very likely and very diverse, but I do think that in several generations in the modern world, such vast diversity can happen. It is really a book to just enjoy without every feeling you are struggling to get through it. I hope it finds a new reader, since I often will not wild release out of fear that the book will never be claimed!

That's it everyone on the Bookray has now read this book! I hope that someone finds it and appreciates it as much as everyone else seems to have now that it has been wild released but I am glad that everyone has enjoyed it.

Hope you had a nice holiday MmeClinton!
