I loved the content of this book ... it has something important to say. The writing style was a bit weird, like it had been rushed when written (haha ... it had!) It's the kind of book which grows on you.
This book is jumping off the PC shelf and travelling to England to continue a ray. It's been wanting to travel for a while. Lucky book. Posted on 3rd July 2006.

RockDg9 has very kindly allowed her copy of this book to rescue my stalled bookray. As her book is part of her PC it will be changed to a bookring. So below are the remaining members of my stalled bookray.
1. SIGN UP for this bookring by sending me a Private Message. Order of participants will be juggled between geography, date of request and shipping limitations. Late additions may be added to the end of the list.
2. When the person before you on the list finishes reading the book, they will send you a Private Message for your postal address. If you no longer wish to read it, let them (and me!) know and I will move you down/off the list.
3. WHEN YOU RECEIVE THE BOOK please make a journal entry so everyone knows it has safely arrived. Bookrings should not be stressful, take your time and enjoy the book. Just make sure it gets mailed on to the next person.
4. WHEN YOU FINISH THE BOOK, make another journal entry telling us what you thought - did you like it? Did you think it was well-written?
5. CONTINUE THE BOOKRING by sending a Private Message to the person after you on the bookring list and request their postal address. Please check back here for the latest distribution list. If the person doesn't respond within 7-14 days (use your judgement), please PM the next person, and then me, so I can update the bookring list.

Arrived safe and sound! Thank you RockDg9 for parting with your copy. Great to see this ray going again. I already started reading. So far it's been very interesting!
Very interesting and thought-provoking.
The style feels a bit dated and I found myself glancing through bits here and there. But the story itself survives to this day.

This arrived with me this morning from MeGeerts and I'll start reading it tonight, it just so happens that I'm without a book to read, so that was great timing!
First of all, my apologies for taking so long to read this book. My homelife has taken an extraordinary turn this last few months and needless to say, my mind has not been on reading.
I'll PM patxocas for a mailing address shortly and get this ring moving again!
I thought the book was lovely, and certain parts were very prophetic (is that a word?) I just hope we don't end up travelling the same road. Certainly an enjoyable read. Thank you for the chance to be part of this ring.

Well, I don't quite now why that logged me as an anonymous finder... but it was me!
This book stands alongside Orwell's 1984 and Huxley's Brave New World. Are we nearly there yet? By the way, I am a bookseller in the Bedford (UK) area who found this book in a box of books. Instead of selling it, I am passing it back into the wild. Good reading.
