My name is Therresa Kennedy and I found this book at the wonderful little, (actualy quite spacious) coffee and ice cream shop called The Hullabaloo, on 87th and Canyon Road near Beaverton, Oregon. A wonderful, friendly and cozy place to get delicious and rare coffee blends, and yummy ice cream, (fat content be damned!)
I picked it up and doubted whether I would be interested enough to read it completely through. But I did and found it to be one of the finest books I have ever read. Thouhtful, original and real. This was a story I found could and may have in fact happened somewhere in this country. It made me reconsider my own plans to work after I graduate from PSU in the next two years. I am thinking my work may involve some kind of work with the homeless.
All in all this was a wonderful book, truly superb!

I will send the book to Ohare airport with my father for drop off. The book was so-so. Not his best, but an easy read.
