I received this book today and I can't wait to read it as I love Virginia Woolf. Thank you Liz for mailing it to me. It's going in my TBR.
This was my first Virginia Woolf novel and I was expecting so much more that I was disappointed by that book. First of all, the characters seemed so far that I lost interest in their life. Plus, some events just happened without reason or explanation. I don't believe that an author can kill characters just because... Without explanation or description, just writing "So and so died" is lacking something important for me. Otherwise, the style was incredible and I needed that after reading one too many Marian Keyes. I will keep on reading the other Virginia Woolf novels that I have, but I will lower my expectations, so I won't be disappointed that much later. Thanks LyzzyBee for that RABCK and the wonderful Christmas Card, it was very appreciated !
