I read this book a couple of months ago ... I don't remember exactly when. For the most part I enjoyed it, it was exactly the 'brain-dead' type of read that I needed with a newborn baby. There were parts that were stretched to be unbelievable, and that's unfortunate; plus the plot was quite predictable. But overall it did what I wanted it to do ... helped me to pass some time reading while the baby was asleep :-)
I will release sometime in upcoming weeks as we get prepared to move.

It was a good book to read between study sessions -- it doesn't require much attention and it moves quickly so you don't fall asleep, which is a very good thing.

I'll get this in the mail for Ibis3 in the next couple of days.

This one was pretty good. I got through it pretty quickly. I liked all the stuff about how airplanes are constructed and what the manufacturing industry is like and how accidents are investigated (of course the use of the "newbie to which everything has to be explained" plot device was rather obvious -- but better than for example the tv show Criminal Minds, where the experts are all explaining to each other things which would be very obvious to experts). There wasn't much of a mystery & the 'chase' scene seemed a bit hokey to me--but then I wasn't expecting great literature. For a pulp thriller it was enjoyable.

I've PMd gadl for his address.

Landed succesfully in my mailbox today. Thanks Ibis!
I'm glad that I'm currently in last position on this ray, because I've just started another rather large book that should occupy me for more than a week before I can turn my attention to Airframe.

I finished this book two days ago. It was a great read!
Although I've seen many movies based on Crichton's scenarios, I think this is only the second book I read and I'm willing to read more. I like well-documented thrillers full of technical details, so that's my kind of book.
