Reading McCall Smith's books is like eating big bowls of whipped cream - sweet and good but lots of air. I enjoyed this one as much as the others, and took the last words as a personal message:
"that is what makes our pain and sorrow bearable - this giving of love to others, this sharing of the heart".
Book is now on loan to a colleague (not a bookcrosser).
Upon return it will be ringed to:
icila
boucli
kanapoutz
brujula
et encore....?

I got it this morning. Thanks silentmiaouw, I fear to get fat with these big bowls of whipped cream ! ;)
I enjoyed this one like the others and I hope that A. MacCall Smith reserve us many others in the same vein.
I send it to boucli.

The book arrived last week, together with
- a salted-butter-toffee lollypop (already devoured by mini !!!)
- a postcard edited for the re-opening of the Jules Verne museum in Nantes (on my to-do list for my next visit in this city !)
Thanks Icila, and thanks for the ring, Silentmiaouw...

As a matter of the, since the other book I'm reading was too big to take on a travel by train, I picked up this one last week end and read it ! s usual, I loved this story made of plenty of little stories, little things about life in Botswana...I hope there will be more in the series !
Thanks for the ring, silentmiaouw...
Will be sent to Kanapoutz tomorrow !

Read it on a long train journey today... same as usual, enjoyable book! I'm glad everything turned out ok for Mma Makutsi too!
I'm also glad the serie is finished, I really enjoyed it but I don't think I would have read another one. Partly because it was starting to feel really patronising, all this "good old Botswana way not like today's crap civilisation" talk (even if it's completely true).
It will go to brujula this week!
Thanks again!

received with two other books in the same envelope-post office bag, and along with other books, sent or dropped by other bookcrossers....
Many thanks!

yet another book with Mma Ramotswe, as enjoyable as the others, and with a little more investigating than in the former.
Thank you for sharing, silentmiaouw!
As I'm the last one on the list, I figure I'll mail the book back to you! Could you please pm me your adress?

WILD RELEASE NOTES:

Taken with me home to Berlin:-)
Mensch, war das ein Lesevergnügen. Aber eine Auflösung fehlt noch: Wer hat sich unter dem Bett versteckt, seine Unterhose verloren und den Kürbis auf der Veranda gelassen? Habe ich das irgendwie überlesen?

Caught at the August 2016 Berlin Meetup. - 27.11.2016 That was a rather relaxed crime story, with nice people and detailed descriptions of life in Botswana. @inken: You're right, that pumpkin mistery was not resolved.
