Hexwood is like human memory.It does not need to take events in their correct order.Hexwood Farm is full of machines that should not be tampered with and when one is,the aftershock is felt throughout the universe.

I think probably the most confusing DWJ book I've read. I almost feel like I should re-read it to see if it makes any more sense this time round. A pity, really, because the story (once I figured out what it was!) had a lot of potential, if only there was space to appreciate it.
