This was another good book in the Insepctor Kurt Wallander series. Set at a time when Nelson Mandela has just been set free, the events in South Africa appear to be connected to the murder of a woman who is considered a pillar of the Methodist church.

What I like about this series is that it seems fairly realistic. People get to work late and miss important bits of information, the second pages of faxes get missed when sent. You really feel the sense of frustration with the police when it appears that the case is going nowhere. I look forward to reading more of the series.
