I was really hesitating in the beginning because I had to read this book for a class on India... it took me much self-persuation to get through the first couple of pages... and then... slowly welling from underground... big things to come! I was totally captured at some point. I very much like the book by now, it's very dense, full of emotions, even testing in a way - it reveals a lot about yourself while reading it - your own and personal Marabar caves.
