Having read one of Sheila O'Flanagan's books, I had my sister-in-law pick up every one of her other books while in the UK. O'Flanagan is not available in the US - I don't know why; her books are bestsellers in the UK. The book jacket would lead you to believe that she writes your average chick lit, but that is far from the truth.
In Far From Over, the main character is Gemma, a divorced mother of two who is struggling with the fact that her ex-husband has married a much younger woman. All the characters are portrayed sensitively and with great depth. I truly enjoyed this and would recommend it to anyone.
