Judi McCoy has done it again. Another fun, sexy read from ths engaging new author. After the death of her self-absorbed husband, Tom, Annie McAllister decides to pursue her dream and becom a US Marshal. After 6 years she's given a high-profile job in the WITSEC program, protecting mob informant, Dominic Viglione. Meanwhile, Milton, Annie's guiding angel, has other ideas. He calls Tom from his holding pattern between heaven and hell, and gives him the chance to return to the living--if he first agrees to help fine Annie the perfect man. Tom takes the only reasonable choice offered, the body of the soon to be dead Dominic. But Tom is in for a surprise, Dominic is really Drew Falcone, a undercover marshal trying to find a traitor. Tom/Drew and Annie are forced to go on the run, where hilarity and trouble are the name of the game. In the end, Annie finds her soulmate and Tom/Drew get the woman they love.

I wasn't sure if I'd like this. I'm not much for police-themed stories. I shouldn't have underestimated Judi McCoy. I've loved everything I've read by her. Her writing just flows so smoothly for me. This was funny & I loved the paranormal twist. However the ending REALLY makes the reader feel the need to read the next "Heaven" book. Fortunately I have it in my TBR pile.... somewhere.... :D
