I don't think I even spent more than an hour on this book. Quick and fun, in a spooky kind of way. I must be on a Neil G. kick — I finished American Gods in about two days. I probably should take a break before tackling Stardust, Sandman, Neverwhere, etc. Especially because I hate that fantasy crap.

I finally got around to reading this. Cliff's right - if you've got a couple of hours to kill, this is a nice way to do it. The story is very fairy-tale in its structure and super creepy in a really fun way. I'm really loving Neil G.'s writing style.

It's going out in the mail today for a trade with sqdancer. Sorry for the delay — I couldn't find Empire of the Sun but as soon as I do, I'll get it ready for you. I've earmarked it for you. I suspect I might have left at my parents' place, which we are visiting in April, so I'll keep an eye out for it then.

Please don't go to all that bother about Empire of the Sun. I really appreciate the effort, but I have too many books to catch up on anyway. :) I'm really looking forward to reading Coraline. Thank you for the trade.

Good way to spend an evening. I just might have to bump Stardust closer to the top of Mount TBR. Thanks cliff1976 and MarahSulloy. The book will be passed along.
