The Dungeon

Dark yet captivating and quite enjoyable. I didn’t get as much sense as I would have preferred of the motivational factors within the plot. I was disappointed there was not more depth. On reflection I think I was thrown because I felt the style was a but muddled.
I think in order to tell an epic tale a narrative style that sweeps across big events is used. Sort of like “The warrior, took his biggest blade, and his sturdiest horse went into battle and returned later for food”. However the plot was interesting and if I think of it as a Scottish, Brother’s Grimm tale it all comes together. Hope the next reader finds it as intriguing as I did! This would have made a good Halloween release had I though of it sooner!
