Hiya!

Greetings from a cold autumnal Britain... from Jacinta in the UK...

Please write something of what you did the day and what sort of books you like with your nickname... (It has to be honest, personal, fun, embarrassing, gossipy (no real names), feelings, piccies, poetry, thoughts of the day (well, all these are ideas) but you may have other ideas... too.Perhaps giving a sense of history to the diary, write in the top stories of the day or some interesting newsworthy item in your country or area.

The main idea is that it is something to read for those days when the nights draw in... something you can curl up to. Later on, perhaps a couple of years time, it may go round again and people can update their lives.

When the diary gets full.... just get another diary and keep the old one with the parcel.
Please pass on the diary ideally within a fortnight or so so others can write in.

Some countries I have had to delete as I have been having problems with the postal services (go missing or long delays)

END OF THE BOOK

Please PM me when you come to the end of the book. I will send out a new book to the next person, but in the meantime, send the book on to the next person and let them know that a new book is being sent out to them. Alternatively, you can purchase another book and send both to the next person, which is a bit easier, but slightly more costly as you have to buy the next book. The choice is yours.

Update December 2004. Happy Christmas to all

Update April 2005 Diary Arizonafyre has it and will be past on in due course. No need to PM her.

Journal Entry 17 by Ebumu from Ithaca, New York USA on Thursday, December 23, 2004

This book has not been rated.

I got the diary in today's mail, in good shape. I'm brewing up a cup of tea so I can snuggle up and read it this windy, snowy night. I'll send it along shortly. Merry Christmas, all!

What, you're curious about my tea? Why, it's Dragon Pearl Jasmine, from Red Blossom Tea Company. Expensive but just heavenly!

Oh, and that fuzzy thing in the photo is Ebumu's foot.

How cozy. It was fun to read others' entries over the holidays, and then add my own. I mailed this off today to arizonafyre, media mail. Thanks jacinta2000!

Here's a photo of my snowy house that I took yesterday. Today, we got another 6 inches of snow. The flags above the front door are Tibetan prayer flags, in lieu of Christmas lights. I'm so happy to be here.

Easter Sunday RABAK! Well, I ended up giving a bag of Creme Eggs to a late night train driver at Charing Cross who said 'ooooh! Thanks'! I did spot a Buddhist monk during the day but had no mars bar to hand, and the Easter Eggs wouldn't do!
