Read this as a child and can barely remember it. I am looking forward to taking the journey with Milo again!

Journal Entry 2 by Cyberkedi from Atlanta, Georgia USA on Monday, June 27, 2005
I am so glad that I re-read this book! Although its intended audience is children, adults will enjoy it as well. Milo's journey is really all about the power of language and knowledge, and learning to think logically.

I am offering it as a bookring.

Journal Entry 5 by monkeyflower from San Francisco, California USA on Saturday, December 10, 2005
A true classic. This has some great humor and insights into human nature and society. I'm glad I re-read this. This is going out to cosmicflurk today.

Journal Entry 6 by cosmicflurk from San Diego, California USA on Monday, December 19, 2005

Thanks for sharing!
This book was a lot shorter than I remembered it, but it was still a lot of fun to read again. Now, I have one question. Is DYNNE pronounced like "DINE" or "DEAN"...?

P.S. I had so much fun with this bookring that I've registered another copy.

On its way to Australia!

Journal Entry 9 by Sabavana from Abermain, New South Wales Australia on Monday, February 6, 2006
Recieved safely today, thanks cosmicflurk! Can't wait to re-read this, I loved it as a kid and I'm looking forward to meeting the once-familiar characters again.

Journal Entry 10 by Sabavana from Abermain, New South Wales Australia on Monday, February 13, 2006
I finished this a couple of nights ago, but haven't had a chance to journal yet. I was a lil disappointed that this book wasn't as good as I remembered it, though it was still enjoyable nonetheless. Like cosmicflurk, it seemed alot shorter than when I was a kid, but hey it happens :-) Oh, and I think 'Dynne' is pronounces 'Din', as in noise. But I could be wrong...
Cyberkedi, who's next in line for this one?

Journal Entry 11 by concertina8 on Tuesday, February 28, 2006
found this in my mailbox today with a note from the post office, that the envelope was replaced, as the original one was damaged. the book is in mint condition, though.

as i'm in the middle of a "brick" right now (900 pages), i will start reading parallel.

Journal Entry 12 by concertina8 on Friday, March 10, 2006
what a lovely story! the main characters are likeable and/or amusing and the bad guys are not freak-out bad but try to trick you, which i find a very good decision for a children's book.

this book was never really popular or widely-known around here - and i would imagine that it never really made it big anywhere in the non-english-speaking world. which is sad, really.

actually, i had never heard of it before i became a bookcrosser.

thank you for sharing.

the next person on the list asked to be skipped so i went down one spot. this will move on as soon as i get the next address.

oh, and just for the record - this is austria, not australia as indicated on the PMd list....
