Have received the book, I will read it as soon as I am back from my holidays, in about two weeks time. I will not take the book with me as I'm afraid I will leave it there by mistake and it's a ray, not a book for wild release :)

Journal Entry 4 by Kislany on Sunday, October 10, 2004
Just a quick update, I am back from holidays and as soon as I've finished my current read, this book will be next. So most probably will send it on its way to reissilvia end of next week.

---- Oct. 15 - have read the book, was not entirely my stuff, but it was a nice read nevertheless. I am away next week so I won't be able to post it, but will send to reissilvia on the 25th. In the meantime have asked for her address, so I have it ready by the time I am back.

Finished reading it and it really moved me... Though I continue to find strange love between teenagers and grownups. In terms of the German guilt I believe it must have been really hard belonging to one of these two generations. Thnks for the chance of reading the book. I will now sent it out as a bookray.

Chegou hoje, demorou um bocadinho no trajecto da Figueira da Foz até Lisboa, mas está são e salvo. Na pilha dos TBR mas tentando ser rápido...:-)
This means that the book took some time (that's why they call it snailmail) to arrive, but eventually arrived in good condition. I hope I'll finish it this year!

27 de Fevereiro de 2006 - Atrasado, mas não esquecido nem perdido.... that is, some delay to be read but not forgotten and definetely not lost!

09 de Junho de 2006 - OK, já peguei nele, deve ser rápido de ler. Being read, hopefully fast...

Lido!
A 600km trip by bus and 700km by train was more than enough to go past the promising first few pages and go through the whole book...
A love tragedy, not really like - but then not really unlike - Romeo and Juliet. An impossible love but a true deep love, no matter how denied it is or how deep into the memory it was buried. A secret that could be suspected long before the author revealed it, beeing the cause of escape into the privacy of prison, as if it was a convent...
And the end was the only possible for this story.
To be re-read in a short time.

Finalmente vou começar a lê-lo

-----------------------------------------
16-02-2007
