I received this in the mail this weekend along with the other two in the trilogy. I have a couple of other bookring/ray books in front of them, but I'll be starting this trilogy soon.

Journal Entry 4 by SandDanz from New Albany, Indiana USA on Monday, October 11, 2004

I just finished this book today on my lunch break and thoroughly enjoyed it! It was even better than the 1st book of the trilogy. I plan on starting the 3rd book quickly and getting these on to the next person on the ring.

I ESPECIALLY liked how the book made one small mention of clog dancing. I am a clog dancer and usually I don't see much about it in books or on TV or in movies or anything!!! :D

8 out of 10

Finished this last night, and I really enjoyed it! I liked it better than the first one. Maybe part of it is the way the author has continued to develop the characters and build on what we already know. In a way, the story is very much alike (the plot of connecting clues and finding the key) but yet it's still different. I am getting a bit tired of the typical romance scenario though- where the man is wanting the woman, but the woman is just resisting, and then the man makes a breakthrough by just grabbing her and kissing her... that kind of thing. It would be cool to read a romance where the woman is the one seducing the man to change his mind instead- just for something different! Okay, so now I'm off-topic. ;-)

I did enjoy this book alot because of the book theme. It's neat to think they actually entered a book's story. Wouldn't it be cool to be able to do that sometimes with some books?? There's just something so wildly impossible about all that, that I found intriguing. And I'm wanting to visit the business that Malory, Dana and Zoe is putting together. It sounds like a great idea to have an actual place like that! Anyway, I hope the next book is just as good!

I also enjoyed this one better than the first. Us Bookworms like the book concept. I agree that it would be awesome to get inside a book. I liked Dana and her independant spirit. She seemed to really grow as a person. On to the next in the series

Received it a long while ago. Really am very sorry for the delay in journalling it. Am getting ready to post this to the next person.

Highly enjoyable read. I didn't have much hopes about how logical the book would be in the end, but it was... okay. The characters seemed so real, and I really enjoyed "hearing them talk".

Thanks so much for sharing!

I was temporarily diverted from this book by The testement by John Grisham which I'm reading simultaneously with my husband (we both have BC copies), but decided to finish reading this book first since I'm seeing the next person on the list for this book at a BC-meeting in Den Haag tomorrow.
I liked the book but I was getting a bit impatient because it took so long for the search for the key to really get started. When it finally got started it was a very pleasant read (skipped the love scenes).
I'm curious how Zoe will be doing finding her key and what happens after.

P.S. As with the first book I have done some cosmetic upgrading of the cover of this book.
