Very enjoyable story! Just finished it last night, and I'm looking forward to seeing how the rest of the series comes out! I mean, I know they will be successful, but to see just HOW it all happens. I really didn't know what to expect when I started this series, but I enjoyed this first book.

On to book 2!

Journal Entry 15 by itsmejudy from Mount Evelyn, Victoria Australia on Friday, February 4, 2005
I just finished this book. I didn't know what to expect as I have never read a Nora Roberts book. This was probably more like a romance than fantasy which is fine by me, I'm not really into fantasy. Anyway, yes I enjoyed the book, it was a fun quick read and I'm looking forward to seeing what happens in the next book.

Enjoyed the book very much. I love the way the 3 women embrace the paranormal so easily. A good fantasy romance, Can't wait to see how the rest turn out

Received the book a long while ago. A thousand million apologies for the delay in journalling it. Putting it in the envelope so I can post it the next person in the queue. Thanks so much for sharing!

This is the first book of the series. It was an enjoyable read, though I still find the "answer" to their quest a bit mind-boggling.

Received this about three weeks ago at my home address...just after I'd left for my holiday according to the postmark! So I'm sorry that I didn't journal this sooner. ^_^

I'd mistakenly picked up another copy of this one before I left on my holiday, so should be getting through the second two fairly quickly. Thanks for sharing them with me though!

<-- Miss Roberts on the back cover of the book.

I was supposed to finish my ABC-challenge first, but was a bit tired of that so I read this book in between. I liked the story, but skipped all the love scenes (fortunately there weren't too many ). An enjoyable read!

The book was starting to 'fall apart a bit', so I put some tape on it to keep it from tearing futher.
<-- The first page with the key on it is missing, so I put a bookmark there for the scan :-)

Journal Entry 33 by wandering from Breda, Noord-Brabant Netherlands on Saturday, February 10, 2007
Just the kind of book I was in the mood for today! I really liked it. The 'romantic' storylines were very predictive and only contained the suspense on 'how and when', but the mix with the fantasy storylines was really nice. I couldn't really predict how Malory's quest would continue and end... well the general idea of the end was clear of course, because there are two other parts to the trilogy, but you get my drift. Speaking of the other two books, I almost finished the second one in the same go as I finished the first one.

_______________________
The writer seems to be as fond of the verb 'to wander' as I am, because next to the following uses of 'wandering', the next of kin 'wandered' was noticed many more times...

p.43: She saw an older man reading the newspaper, a few people wandering the stacks, a woman with a toddler in tow at the checkout counter.
p.77: If I find your attention wandering, I'll kick you under the table.
p.112: I just spent an hour at Malory's, and another twenty minutes wandering around trying to decide if I should dump on you or just keep it between us girls.
p.215: He started at the beginning, with him wandering the house, with the sensation of being watched, stalked.
p.265: And here he was, in her way, wandering around.

Putting it in the mail to Loeweneckerchen next Monday, March 12th. It will be in one package with the other two books and travel through surface mail, so it might take a little while (all the way to Germany...).

Enjoy reading and thanks for sharing, EcitorphSchool!

Journal Entry 35 by Loeweneckerchen from Böblingen, Baden-Württemberg Germany on Sunday, April 1, 2007
Arrived together with the other two a while ago. I started reading the first one today. Thanks for mailing it, wandering!
