I will admitt I do not remember which book in the series this one is, so I wil give a series review.

One thing, I do not feel that this series needs to be read in order. The important info from another book is repeated briefly when that info is necessary for the story.

This series is about a Detective, Eve Dallas, with the New York Safety and Police Department, in about the year 2055. The series takes place after the major urban wars.

In each book, Eve has to solve a serial killer case. She has the help with others on the force, her georgous rich husband (there are some hot scenes) who uses some less than legal ways of helping out. Eve also often has help from a group of friends that seem a little flaky but will do anything for those they consider friend.

I have enjoyed all of the books in the series.

Ah - pity I've read this one already. However, I have a local friend who enjoys these, so I am setting this aside for her - if she doesn't want it, it'll be up for grabs.

This series keeps getting better with each book. I had a suspicion but could never quite convince myself it was right.

I plan on sharing these with other bookcrossers who I am sure will love them. Thanks again to MarciNYC for sending this one to me.

Because of stormwarnings and advice to stay indoors if possible my husband and I decided to reschedule the grocery shopping to tomorrow. I took this opportunity to take a nice warm and scented bath and finish this book :-) It took me a while to get into the story, but then I was really into it and couldn't wait to finish this book! I enjoyed reading this book.
