Okay, this is "book" number 500, I´ve registered. To celebrate this I decided to start an european cross-language BookXerpting.
Okay, dies ist "Buch" Nummer 500, das ich registriert habe. Um das zu feiern habe ich mich entschlossen ein europäisches cross-language BookXerpting zu starten
the rules:
1. Read all the enclosed excerpts and choose one, two, or three, which you would like to read in full. Send a PM to those members, whose screen names you'll find on those excerpts. Tell them, which books you would like to get (and tell them the number and your address as well).
2. Replace the excerpts, which you choose, by your own ones. Those books may be in any language your like (English, German, Netherlands, French, Kizuahili, or whatsoever you have at hand). Every excerpt should be marked clearly with your screenname and a number, so that you can send on the right books afterwards (I myself numbered my excerpts consecutively, so if someone chooses "Sudizoso 1", they can send me a PM and I can send out the right book without disclosing, which one it is).
3. There should always be a minimum of 10 book excerpts travelling on - if you want to send more excerpts, please feel free to do so. And a minimum of 5 English ones should be contained. All members should be willing to mail the offered books within Europe as soon as possible, as you don't cannot know in advance who will choose your book.
4. Please make a journal entry here first, before sending on the excerpts. Furthermore, a notice, how many excerpts you enclose, which ones you choose, and what you think about the others, would be nice.

Sudizoso #20: Den Autor habe ich erkannt, das habe ich vor Jahren mit viel Vergnügen gelesen.

Ich habe den Brief von Kari-H heute erhalten und mal kurz 'reingeschaut. Ich werde aber wegen Spät- und Nachtdienst wahrscheinlich erst Anfang nächster Woche dazu kommen, mir die Auszüge genauer anzusehen.

Die Entscheidung war nicht einfach aber es ist vollbracht und ich habe mir vier Bücher ausgesucht.

Sudizoso #19: Reclam-Heft? Das ist mir glaube ich zu anstrengen. / I think it would be too strenous for me to read.
Sudizoso #20: Daraus hat uns unsere Deutschlehrerin vorgelesen und die Klasse hat am Boden gelegen vor lachen.
Sudizoso #21: Ich war letztes Jahr in Österreich im Urlaub, habe daher schon meine eigene Reiseliteratur...
Sudizoso #23: Gedichte waren schon in der Schule nicht meine Stärke.

Sudizoso #27: A ten-year-old attempting suicide - not really my taste.
